The August House of the Month 2021 is in old Midland! The original windows on this 1955 home were aluminum. Single pane with single-strength glass allowed wind, dust, heat, and cold. This homeowner wanted a few modifications on a few of the windows. On the front of the home, sliders were installed but were taller than the original windows. Two other windows next to the fireplace were also rebuilt to be taller. In total, 8 double-hung, 4 2-lite sliders, and 1 3-lite sliding window replaced all windows.
