Our June House of the Month is this wonderful couple’s home! Built in McCamey, TX in 1954 with wood windows and siding. A total of 12 windows were replaced- 10 Single Hung style & 2 Picture Windows. The windows were actually installed by the owner, Jose. White color interior & exterior windows, along with White color Facia, Soffit, Corners, & Trim Coil Wrap to match. Charter Oak siding in Cape Code color with the Dutch Lap face. Great work!!

The original wood windows allowed air and dirt to come in from the outside. Wood windows are also susceptible to rotting. Single pane glass did not protect the home from the heat or cold. Old wood siding was begining to rot in some areas of the home.
After
White vinyl replacement windows improved the look and feel of the home. Updating the siding made the home look like a completely new home and is now energy star rated. Congrats to the homeowners and their new forever home!
